Here at Infinity Canine we love what we do, and canine semen cryopreservation is one thing we do best!
We provide honest feedback on your studs semen and will only freeze if it meets our guidelines for freezing. We will not freeze semen that is not good enough, however, we will work with you to hopefully get your stud in better breeding condition and hopefully, get your stud collected and stored.
Semen samples are processed in straws. The straws from the collection are “split” into two separate tanks for safety reasons. Storage tanks can fail, even with proper care. By splitting the sample, we hope to preserve at least half of the collection should this happen.
Semen is stored on site with Infinity Canine, LLC in Cary NC. Our tanks are monitored daily and weekly checks are performed.
We ask that you plan on bringing the following information with you:
- Registration Certificate (AKC, UKC, or other applicable registries). DNA profile number (please check with your registry if other than AKC and UKC to see their requirements)
- (Infinity Canine offers AKC DNA kits and can be done at time of appointment)
- Negative Brucellosis test within 6 months of the collection --- NO EXCEPTIONS

UNLESS WE KNOW PRIOR TO COLLECTING, SEMEN COLLECTED AND FROZEN IS NOT ELIGABLE FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT.
