Infinity Canine offers side by side vaginal insemination, TCI and surgical inseminations.
For side by side, we understand the need to have someone "on call" for you. These appointments can be made day of as needed.
We do require a health exam on both the male and female to create a client patient relationship with Dr. Mike Adams, as required by the NC Veterinary Medical Board.
Plan on bringing with you a copy of vaccination records, including current Rabies vaccination status, heartworm tests and a copy of most current Brucella Canis results. We require a test every 6 months to be considered up to date. We will be happy to perform the test at the time of your visit.
TCI and surgical inseminations are a bit more complicated. We will require a health exam with Dr. Adams of Homestead Veterinary Hospital to create a client patient relationship. Once the initial visit, usually day 5, 6, or 7 of heat cycle, is done, you will not pay for another office visit until day of procedure. Please call for current pricing.
We proudly use Idexx laboratory for send out Chemiluminescence Progesterone testing. We strongly encourage you to use a reputable lab. In house progesterone testing is not recommended for critical timing when using frozen or chilled semen. For clients that have a long distance to drive, we can arrange to have your vet draw the sample and send in for us, providing they use Idexx laboratories. Please give us call far enough in advance to get your supplies.
If you choose to use your veterinarian, or other progesterone timing, please make sure they are willing to time and read the progesterones. We will not give any feedback on progesterones that we do not run.
